Yağız Alp Akaydın

The director, who has been actively involved in the media industry for many years, began their career as an assistant director. Over time, they took on various roles, including screenwriter, producer, and director. In 2012, they sat in the director's chair for the first time with the TV series Zil Sesi. Following this, they directed popular series such as Magnificent Century (Muhteşem Yüzyıl) and Yaz’s Story (Yaz’ın Öyküsü). In 2017, they made their feature film directorial debut with Kötü Çocuk. Their television career includes directing widely watched series such as Gülperi, Söz, and Ramo. In 2024, they took a significant step in their cinema career with the film Bir Cumhuriyet Şarkısı (Chords of Change).
