A painterly exploration of the horse’s silhouette, its springy movements, and the expressive forms of fighting stallions. Blending the director’s own animation with artistic studies by Leonardo da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, Saul Steinberg, and others, the film delves into the symbolic and aesthetic significance of the horse. Mythological figures such as the centaur and Pegasus appear alongside interpretations by Japanese, Chinese, and Paleolithic artists — offering a layered reflection on the horse’s place in art history and imagination.
