The Polish 1990s are a bleak time for an eight-year-old — filled with dark school corridors, gray apartment blocks, and a pervasive sense of despair. An escape appears in the vibrant virtual world of computer games. But the catechist warns: Games are evil. They will destroy you. The priest claims games are lies, dangerous, even demonic. In this confusing reality, one thing becomes clear — trust is fragile, especially when faced with a masked figure wrapped in bandages. A story about childhood, fear, and the blurry boundaries between reality, fantasy, and faith.
