After going bankrupt in İzmir, Eyüp returns to Siverek and starts working with local villagers drying tomatoes. When he doesn’t receive his wages, he gets into an argument with the foreman, Hemme, which quickly escalates into a fight. Filled with anger and desperation, Eyüp leaves the field on his motorcycle and decides to take revenge. The film has been selected as Turkey’s Oscar entry.

Murat Fıratoğlu
He studied law at Dicle University. Among Fıratoğlu’s short films are ‘Straw Dust’ in 2007, ‘The Edge of All Possibilities’ in 2008, ‘Albatros Dreams’ in 2008 and ‘The Photo of Kholoud Ahmed’ in 2016, which was shortlisted for Sabancı Foundation Short Film Platform. “One of These Days When Hemme Dies” his first feature film. He lives in Istanbul and works as a lawyer.
