Onur Ünlü

He graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Communication Sciences and completed his master's degree in Communication Sciences at Marmara University. Between 1993 and 1998, he wrote poetry under the pen name 'Ah Muhsin Ünlü', which was later compiled in the book Gidiyorum Bu. He began his television career in 1999 with the series Deli Yürek.
In 2006, he made his feature film debut as director, screenwriter, and producer with Polis. He then directed and wrote films such as Güneşin Oğlu (Son of the Sun), Beş Şehir (Five Cities), Sen Aydınlatırsın Geceyi (You Illuminate the Night), Celal Tan ve Ailesinin Aşırı Acıklı Hikayesi (Celal Tan and His Family’s Extremely Tragic Story), İtirazım Var (I Object), Kırık Kalpler Bankası (Bank of Broken Hearts), and Aşkın Gören Gözlere İhtiyacı Yok (Love Doesn’t Need Eyes to See). He also took on directing and writing roles in TV series such as Leyla ile Mecnun, Şubat (February), Ben de Özledim (I Missed It Too), and Beş Kardeş (Five Brothers). Additionally, he wrote the screenplays for the films Uzaklarda Arama (Don’t Look Far) and Acı Aşk (Bitter Love).
