Set in southeastern Turkey, the film tells the story of Ciwan, a devoted village head and father, and his 14-year-old son Feyzi. While Kurdish villagers try to live peacefully amid local challenges and PKK demands, Feyzi is forced to confront the harsh realities of life, unaware of his father’s serious illness. In his third film, Mehmet Ali Konar blends harsh reality with a touch of magic to tell a poignant father-son story set in a fragile land.

Mehmet Ali Konar
he graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Communication in 2005. She worked as an assistant director in films and documentaries. She wrote comedy scripts for television series. She speaks Turkish, English, Italian, and Kurdish. In 2018, with Colorless Dream, she received the Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, and the SIYAD Awards at the Ankara Film Festival. In 2021, she directed The Story of Zîn and Ali.
